Drew the football player...

I left Drew at the table coloring a picture of a football player. I went upstairs and got the laundry and came right back down. When I asked "Why?" he calmly replied..."I wanted to look like the football player I colored.

So much to be thankful for!

The past three weeks have been hectic to say the least! Andy had a conference in Overland Park the week before Thanksgiving. While he was gone I had a sinus infection, Bryce had an ear infection, Drew had a sinus infection, and Grace had a lot of energy. Thank goodness for family and friends who could help us out!

Bryce absolutely loves his big sister. She can always make him smile even when she is being a little too rough!

Sick kids who feel just well enough to smile at the camera before bed!!

Grace had a Thanksgiving program at school. She sat by her "best friend" Claire and her "future husband" Hayden. Although she has informed me that they will no longer be getting married because Hayden is going to marry Sophia now?!?! I really thought she was 4 but I must have been wrong!

Daddy took some early morning pictures that actually turned out pretty cute despite Mommy's protests!!Thanksgiving was very relaxing with lots of family around to help with the kids. Too bad I only took two pictures and this is the only cute one!

The kids helped decorate our house for Christmas. This is their own "Little People" nativity set!

Then Andy spent a night in the hospital with what they thought may have been appendicitis. It turned out to be a viral infection in his digestive track. Anti-climactic but stressfull just the same! Again we owe our survival to friends and family who helped out!

We ended our stressful 3 weeks by celebrating our good friend Sadie's 2nd birthday! We had "cupcakes" (blueberry muffins) and ice cream. It was quite the party!!

Bryce's Baptism

Before the baptism even began Andy leaned to me and said...Bryce pooped. The outfit that we had spent too long picking out was yellow in the back from where the poop was oozing out of his diaper and up his back. Of course this is what our son would do at his baptism. Drew pooped all over his clothes following his baptism too!!

Drew was a stud muffin in his outfit and was really pretty good throughout the who church service!

Grace looked very grown up in her new dress but acted very 4 during the baptism!

The Imbody's stood up with us, like they did for Drew. They are sponsers which means they get to help us raise good kids...lucky them!! Really it just means they are great friends and we love them and consider them part of our family!
We also had to check Pastor Larry's sleeve after the service to make sure there was no poop on his robe!

Kansas Wind

It was very windy out today so Grace decided we should make kites. Needless to say our kites did not fly, but the kids had a lot of fun running around dragging "paper on a string". Also we caught Bryce on camera smiling for the first time!!

The wind even blew the swing crooked, which apparently is more fun than swinging straight anyways!

Look at this handsome young man! He also makes some pretty cute noises when he is smiling. He really wants to talk!

Fall Fun!

Hanging out on the new bunk beds. He isn't really suppose to get up there but since when do we follow the rules?!?!

Grace's favorite thing in the world is Daddy. She is a lucky girl to have such a loving daddy!

Bedtime routines aren't always so routine!!

A little wrestling before bed. What more would you except from our family?!?

A failed attempt at a group picture. At least they are all in the picture!

Spending time in the fall leaves!

We almost got everyone in. That sun was just too bright for Bryce!

Man, could he get any cuter!!

Grace was amazed at the huge leaves!

Bryce was not.

Again we try the group photo. I think this will be a challenge for a few more years!!

Halloween 2008

We carved pumpkins with Grandma and Grandpa last week to get ready for the big day.

The big kids also each had a Halloween day at school. Grace got to dress up as a "Community Helper". She choose to be a mailman and Drew had pumpkin party that Andy and I both got to attend.

And finally the big night was the Purple Princess, Diego and Bryce's last minute costume...a pirate!

And the baby makes five!

Well, I'm not sure about blogging but we will try! We just added #5 to our family. This is Bryce. He is 2 months old and just starting to smile. The kids love him even though it took a few weeks to get adjusted!!
