Our big kindergartener!

Grace started kindergarten at Amanda Arnold today. Her teacher is Mrs. Shepek. She absolutly loved everything about school. They had music and P.E. She even demonstrated to the class how to skip and leap. She wore her new "Snike" tennis shoes and her hair "just like Carli did for the wedding." How did she get so old!?

Bryce is 1!!

I can't believe that a year has past since the most physically excruciating day of my life. I still remeber it like it was yesterday...enough about me. Today my baby turns one. Bryce is the most wonderful baby in the world, and I'm not just saying that. His smile lights up a room and he smiles a lot!! I can't imagine life without him! Happy Birthday Boog!

Grace's Princess/Swimming Party

The party was a hit. Swimming, games, and cake. Grace got tons of gifts, but her favorite was her new bike from Grammie and Grampie. We have practiced riding it almost every day since the party!!

Grace is 5!!

Can you believe it was 5 years ago today that I had this beautiful baby girl? She was such a wonderful baby. I was spoiled. She slept through the night at 2 months. She was on a great schedule.

She is still a great baby, smart, funny and the most beautiful girl in the world. We love you Gracie Bean!

Adam and Ashley's Wedding

Here are a few pics from the wedding day. I apparently was too busy to take any pics for myself so these are the only ones I have. It was a beautiful day and full of fun activities...yes it was a good activity! We are so excited that Ashley is a part of our ever growing family! We love you Ash! We couldn't ask for a better sister!

Human Alphabet

Grace had a crazy idea to make an "A" using our bodies and this is what happened. Thank you to Adam, Ashley, and Carli for helping and for Mom (Grandma) for taking the pics for us and for making sure we weren't backwards!

Vacation 2009

Since Adam and Ashley got married in Chicago we decided to go early and have our very first family vacation. If you have ever taken a car trip with 3 kids under 5 you know what I mean when I say it was a long trip!!

We stopped for lunch in St. Louis and spent a little over and hour at the arch. We didn't go inside and the kids were fine with that!

16 hours and 45 minutes after we left our house we arrived at Blair's farm in Goshen, Indiana. We spent a day exploring the farm and even took a walk to a near by park. Blair and Grace really bonded on this trip!

Our one spending day was the Shedd Aquarium. There were soooo many people there. There was also a lot of cool stuff to see. We saw penguins (Grace's favorite part), beluga whales, sharks, and dolphins. We also got to explore a submarine (Drew's favorite part) and touch star fish and other small sea creatures.

Our vacation ended at Adam's new place of residence..."The Manse."
