Sometimes pictures just aren't enough!

Drew the football player...

I left Drew at the table coloring a picture of a football player. I went upstairs and got the laundry and came right back down. When I asked "Why?" he calmly replied..."I wanted to look like the football player I colored.

So much to be thankful for!

The past three weeks have been hectic to say the least! Andy had a conference in Overland Park the week before Thanksgiving. While he was gone I had a sinus infection, Bryce had an ear infection, Drew had a sinus infection, and Grace had a lot of energy. Thank goodness for family and friends who could help us out!

Bryce absolutely loves his big sister. She can always make him smile even when she is being a little too rough!

Sick kids who feel just well enough to smile at the camera before bed!!

Grace had a Thanksgiving program at school. She sat by her "best friend" Claire and her "future husband" Hayden. Although she has informed me that they will no longer be getting married because Hayden is going to marry Sophia now?!?! I really thought she was 4 but I must have been wrong!

Daddy took some early morning pictures that actually turned out pretty cute despite Mommy's protests!!Thanksgiving was very relaxing with lots of family around to help with the kids. Too bad I only took two pictures and this is the only cute one!

The kids helped decorate our house for Christmas. This is their own "Little People" nativity set!

Then Andy spent a night in the hospital with what they thought may have been appendicitis. It turned out to be a viral infection in his digestive track. Anti-climactic but stressfull just the same! Again we owe our survival to friends and family who helped out!


We ended our stressful 3 weeks by celebrating our good friend Sadie's 2nd birthday! We had "cupcakes" (blueberry muffins) and ice cream. It was quite the party!!
