It has been too long!

I can't believe how fast this fall has gone! Here are some pics of what we have been up to! P.S. None of these are in order but they do include Halloween, Thanksgiving, and ice skating to name a few events!!

Fun times in Council Grove

One of our best friends, Heather, turned 40 on Friday which was also Andy's 30th b-day. Heather and Bill took 7 couples to Council Grove for dinner and an over night get away. It was so much fun! We have such awesome friends!!

Drew's first day of Pre-K

Drew first day of Pre-K was awesome! (According to him!) He has Mrs. Bahner and one of his best friends, Sam, is in his class. 2 kids down one to go!

1st day of 1st grade!!

Our big 1st grader!! Grace's teacher is named Mrs. Monaco. She seems so nice and Grace loves her. Off to a good start!

Bryce is 2!!

Bryce's party was after Grace's on the same Saturday! I made really cute Elmo cupcakes and forgot to take a picture of them. Bryce dove into the pool and hit his face on the steps. I was certain he broke his nose but after a 30 minute nap and 3 hot dogs he was just fine! He is resilient!

He was the hardest from the very beginning but man he is one of the most fun loving, wonderful, daring, and entertaining kids. We are lucky he is our #3!!

A fancy time had by all!

For Grace's birthday we had a Fancy Nancy party. Everyone decorated their own fancy sun hat and dressed in as many fancy accessories as we could find. Drew didn't decorate a hat but had a good time decorating his body with google eyes!!

Gracie Bean is 6!

How in the world did that happen? I vividly remember leaving the hospital to bring my new baby home, having far too many people at my house, crying as I nursed her in her new room, loving her so much at when I looked at her I cried. Only some of these things have changed...I still invite too many people to my too small house and I sometimes still cry when I look at her. She is an amazing Grace and I truly do love her more than words!

Where has the summer gone?!?

I can't believe that next week is July. This summer has just flown by. After we got back from vacation the kids started soccer, Spanish lessons, and Grace attended a dance camp. Also on the first night of soccer Grace lost her first tooth. The tooth fairy did make an appearance, bringing with her sugar free bubble gum, a glittery princess toothbrush, and 50 cents. (I do think this was a special gift because it was the first tooth...we'll see if that is the case!) I took the summer off at Sylvan and I am not sure if I will go back in the fall. It is so much fun being a stay at home mom when we are so busy! It is much different than the last time I tried to stay at home right after Grace was born!

Bryce really enjoys the cones, balls and water jugs at soccer. The following pictures make our kids look very athletic...don't let them fool you. Mommy is just very good at taking pictures at just the right time!! I'm pretty sure Drew is running towards me to get his water bottle.

Here is Grace's dance camp where they studied the ballet Coppelia (I had to google it!) When they did the performances they faced the mirrors so this is the only picture of her face that I got. She did so well. I cried through most of it because she was soooo grown up. I can't believe how fast my kids are getting big. I only hope that they are enjoying the summer of the "stay-at-home mom" as much as I am!!
