Christmas, take 1

Gracie got one of her (and Daddy's) favorite movies of all time...Enchanted!

Drew got a dinosaur which was promptly named Jon.

Bryce got a wooden train but didn't care at all. He really loved this little box of Goldfish crackers!

Grace got accessories for her American Girl dolls, which included a wheel chair, two casts, bandages, and crutches...maybe she'll be a doctor someday!

One crazy day...

Drew and Bryce ready for the big B-Ball game!?!

Drew posing upside down on the chair.

Bryce used a stamp pad to dye his hair green and yellow.

The were pretending to be the three little pig and said the Big Bad Wolf was in our backyard! These were only the things I took pictures of!!

Christmas Cookie Decorating

While Daddy was at a wrestling tournement I decided to get brave and let the kids decorate Christmas sugar cookies. We had lots of fun with green frosting!

Snow Day 2009

This was Boogie's first time to really experience snow. He wasn't sure until I showed him that you can eat it!!

Drew liked the snow until his fingers started freezing off!

Grace was dramatic as always!

Amanda Arnold Ground Breaking

Grace's school had a ground breaking ceremony for the new additions they will be adding this school year. It will include a new gym, offices and a few new classrooms. Before Thanksgiving they had a ceremony to kick off the work. One child from each class was choosen randomly to be part of the ceremony and Grace was one of them. The shovel was heavy so I helped her to scoop some dirt and then ran to take pictures. The crowd counted down 5...4...3...2...1 and Grace looked at her shovel. The dirt had fallen off and she burst into tears. As the school cheered about the exciting start to their new addition, Grace cried that she didn't throw dirt into a pile. She was devastated and I couldn't help but laugh!

Pilgrim Treats

Here are the treats I made for Grace's class during Pilgrim week. I'm pretty proud of my pilgrim hats and I think the kids will like them too!

"Mo"vember

I am going to preface this post with the fact that I think Andy and his friends are crazy!

Andy is a group called the Family Guys and they have decided to join an international campaign to raise awareness of cancers that affect men-specifically prostate and testicular cancer. They are trying to "change the face of men's health." You can track his progress (or lack there of) and/or donate to the cause at the following website (search for Andy Hutchinson in the top right hand corner) or via his facebook page!

Bryce Stephen

I have so many pictures of this cute boy and I just wanted to share!!

Pumpkin Carving

After the K-State game we stopped at Dillons for a big pumpkin to carve. This is the extent of the kids helping!
Bryce tried to eat the seeds (before we cooked them)!
Drew wanted to cut everything and eventually he did cut right through the Jack-o-laterns nose.

Grace, in true form, was the art designer. She drew the face that I cut out.

Homecoming Halloween

KSU and Aggieville always coordinate the Homecoming parade and Trick-or-Treating in Aggieville. Drew was a racecar driver thanks to hand-me-downs from Austin.
Grace decided to be a witch. I made her a skirt to match her witch hat. She was the cutest witch around!

Bryce was Frankenstein and this is the only picture of him wearing the hat that I made because these were the only seconds that he had it on all day!

Posted by PicasaAs we watched the parade Willie walked by. We tried to get all the kids to get in the picture with him but Sadie and Drew were cowering behind the adults and Andy figured he was enough of a kid to get in. Bryce apparently thought Willie was a nice kitty and decided to pet him!
