Hiking the Konza

We spent Memorial Day hiking the Konza with our good friends from church, the Lansdowne's.


Bryce really enjoyed the hike and celebrated with some post nap cheering!


Drew's good friend Max helped to catch some "bait", a cricket for the homemade fishing pole we fashioned out of a stick, dental floss and a paperclip!

Our post hike party was a BBQ and dip in the pool! Popsicles were dessert!

Salina Mini-Vacation

Since Drew got sick 15 minutes before we were scheduled to go on our "mini-vacation" to KC we took and even smaller vacation to Salina. The kids and I went with Grandma to the Salina Splash Park at Jerry Ivy. Grace loved every minute. Drew was a little leary at first but eventually got in the water and Bryce crawled around in the puddles. The ground is concrete so I kept trying to stop him but he didn't seem to mind at all!











We also got to see Adam and Ashley since they were attending annual conference and their wedding shower. Grandma T., the kids, and I went to the zoo on the morning that every school in a 20 mile radius was on a field trip there. It was fun and tiring. The kids were troopers but that is a big zoo!!

And probably the most fun was had on the giant pile of dirt that was delivered to Grandpa's driveway. They were very dirty!!

Grace took dance this year and really enjoyed it. Her recital was May 3rd. There were alot of thing about dance and dance recitals that Daddy had to learn about...make-up, $50 costumes, flowers. But in the end it was a very enjoyable (and a little emotional for me) day.

I really only posted these so Adam could see Drew wearing his new favorite hat. The other two are just because I have cute kids!!

I really have no reason to blog but I took some really cute pictures in this last batch that I wanted to share. This one is of Bryce and his favorite person Grace. He smiles everytime she is around even if she is pulling his arms out of the socket or shaking his little body like crazy.
This is Grace and all her siblings, Drew, Bryce and her "sister" Sadie. I told Grace that we were not having any more kids and she was so upset because she doesn't have a sister. She decided to adopt Sadie as her own, so if you ask her she will probably tell you that she has a sister named Sadie and Sadie's mom and dad are Bobby and Erika

The sunlight in our dining room was perfect the other evening and I snapped the most wonderful pics of my kiddos. Bryce was covered in sweet potatoes but look at those eyes. I can barely see the messy face!!
